10 Questions About Me

Ever wanted to know more about me? I've picked out a few random questions:

Q1. Why did you choose your profession?

I was interested in tech and computers from a young age but didn’t know it was something you could have a career in. After trying out college and a few jobs I didn’t enjoy, I realised that you can’t put 100% into something you hate. I decided to become a developer because it’s challenging, technology is constantly changing and I never get bored. Everyday I learn something new and I love that.

Q2. What piece of advise would you pass onto your childhood self?

I would say “It’s your life – you should follow your passions and walk your own path. You can’t get through life trying to please everyone else”. I think too many people do what they think is right, or they try to please other people by pushing their own happiness and needs to one side.

Q3. If you could travel to anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I would love to hire a campervan and take a road trip around USA with my husband. There’s so many places i’d like to see – I think we would need to be there for a good few weeks!

Q4. What are your favourite hobbies?

Music is one of my absolute favourite things! I love listening to music and going to see bands live. I also really enjoy photography and playing Call of Duty (yes girls play that too haha).

Q5. What was special about the place you grew up?

I grew up in the countryside and was always exploring the fields, sitting in trees, building dens in the woods and watching wildlife. Having that freedom as a child was very special to me – it’s a shame most children today can’t experience that (or don’t want to!).

Q6. What do you regret not doing or starting when you were younger?

I wish I had studied photography professionally. Absolutely love being behind a lens and capturing moments.

Q7. What characteristics do you most admire in others?

I admire people who are genuinely kind – those that want to help people without an ulterior motive.

Q8. What do you do to get rid of stress?

I love singing and I find it great for relieving stress. You can loose yourself in the song, the music and forget about everything else for a little while.

Q9. What makes you laugh the most?

Probably watching Friends. I’ve seen it all a million times but it still cracks me up! – THIS IS BRAND NEW INFORMATION

Q10. What 3 things do most people not know about you?

1) I used to sing and got myself on Radio Norfolk!
2) I love country music (yeah I hear you laughing)
3) I am that bad at swimming, i’ve nearly drowned twice.
